Last night, we got a huge gust of wind. It was 50 or 60mph all at once. A couple of screens blew out of the windows of the house. One of those, was a big picture windows - right above the F-Type which was patiently sitting the driveway waiting for it’s wash.
The A-pillar got a pretty good dent & scratch along with the window trim and the mirror surround. I didn’t notice anything at first because by the time I got outside, the screen had blown to the front of the car.

It's a newish car, so $2000 minimum.

The chrome trim piece is $1000 alone in the parts lookup.
The plastic surround on the mirror is actually integrated into the mirror - another $960.
Add in paint, blending, etc, and I think we’re in the $4000-5000 ballpark.

Any repair involving a modern car is going to be priced in the thousands, at least.
